While traveling on vacation through the country of Northeastern of Brazil by bus, the American Alex Trubituan, his sister Bea Tribituan and their friend Amy Harrington meet the also foreigners Pru Stagler, Finn Davies and Liam Kuller after an accident with their bus. They follow a track through the woods and find a hidden paradisiacal beach. They decide to stay in the place drinking beer and dancing funk and parting with the locals and they meet the amicable Brazilian teenager Kiko. They are drugged with 'Bom Dia, Cinderela' (translation: Good Morning, Cinderella - a trick used by smalltime crooks to steal naive people) and when they wake up, they are practically naked, with all their belongings, clothes, money, jewels, passports, backpacks etc. stolen. They walk to a small village trying to find a police station, they get into trouble with the dwellers and they are helped by their acquaintance Kiko, who leads them to his uncle's isolated well-equipped cabin in the woods to wait for the next bus two days later. Along the night, Kiko's 'uncle' arrives with his friends and the group discloses the sinister intentions of the newcomers.

"Paradise Lost" begins looking like a promising little horror movie.A group of back packers are stranded in Brazil after bus accident, who think they have affected the boat when they connect to some premises in an isolated place of beauty, beach, beer and girls, what could go wrong? Soon though the film descends into a 21st century world of horror cliches, bad local, semi-naked women, lots of shouting, running and a hell of a lot of swimming! In fact, that a bad local physician wants to sell their organs to rich, the film includes a scene you will not forget in a hurry when a naked girl has been removed from his kidney, a scene so gory that brought the memory of the decade 1980 in video Nastia! Unfortunately there is very little here about the supply of recommending this film, seen it all before in 'Hostel' and 'Sierra' series.

A group of backpackers are tourists on vacation in Brazil. Their bus breaks down and are welcomed by some local very unpleasant. Although the act was not at par and the story is banal, unoriginal and cliche, there were a few scenes that work for this movie. The underwater cave is the most obvious standout. I also really liked that the end does not go over the far-do not leave the path open for a sequel (which is certainly the most excessive in the idea of all Horrordom) The film does not stand up to multiple viewings at all . But it was enough adequate rainy day the waste of time. It's not as bad as you think. My grade: C Eye Candy: Lucy Ramos shows T &A; and Beau Garrett are topless

This film is surprisingly a very good film, and to quote Fangoria, that really is "better and scarier version of Hostel." I really can not understand why we are going to these negative comments and less than an enthusiastic reception from the public. He has very good acting in good players, it has absolutely stunning visual effects and cinematography, some terrific Gore and a very interesting plot and, unlike Hostel, this movie does not ruin itself by adding free on sex and violence. The violence in 'Turistas' is really relevant to the story. Seriously, ignore the negative comments, and check out this movie. If you do not like, is certainly understandable because I know that certainly will not be all cup of tea, but hopefully you, because it really is a good, hardworking film.
