| This is my favorite movie of all time. I will not bore you with too long and complex ideas that this movie has changed my life like a lot of people say about this movie, because frankly we do not believe me. Fight Club is about an insomniac who leads a life of consumers, that is, until he meets Tyler Durden (Pitt), which turns your life upside down and back 'n' round. The violence may be attracted to men in their mid 20 years, but left the theater feeling fulfilled in all their viewing needs. This film has taught me to enjoy life and be more whimsical and fun. It is stylish and ultra an excellent film in general, who has some good comic moments too. It has everything! I can not say much about the plot without feeling the desire to give away spoilers! | I'm not much on graphic violence. This film transcends that. He has wonderful leadership and, even though it is brutal, it takes things to another shelf. Edward Norton is really controlled as he realizes his power. It is too easy to throw in spoilers so leave things to the viewer. The search for self and the growing cult around Fight Club made me suspicious. However, to see what happens with the two men in the center and what they are without Fight Club is the kernel. One of the neat things about this movie is to see a second city makes it even better. The mental byplay between Pitt and Norton increasing tension explosion. If you want to see what can happen when a story was masterly hands, read the book (which is exceptional), and see the movie. They show that art forms can treat the same material, each in its own way. |
| Yes, this is a masterpiece. It is violent, anti-social, weird, Fincherian, dark, dark, etc etc etc. But what you may recall is the end, you only hit so hard that you wont forget. This is definitely a movie that will stay in your head forever. At some point during the half you think nothing can surprise you: You have seen: violence, sex, language, anti-socialism, chaos, chaos, soap. The resumption: a masterpiece. But it threatens to care, care late, so no phone ringing, people talking, wife, etc. bother you. Look for itself.
