| This DVD film Death Defying Acts is about a woman who works as a crook trying to fool to believe that Harry Houdini had psychic powers. "Defying Acts of Death" sounds like an action movie, but the poster looks more like a romantic movie. In fact, it is neither. It is a drama is a little bit about how the efforts of Mary and Harry, Harry, and how she falls in love with. As is the largest Houdini escape artist of all time, a Death Defying Acts film about him should have been thrilling, exciting and challenging even death. However, this Death Defying Acts Thriller has none of these attributes. The plot is slow, clear and not exciting at all. There is not much tension or drama to captivate me. Do not care about the characters, and whatever the relationship between them. There is little chemistry between Guy Pearce and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Frankly, I think we are miscast. Fortunately, Saoirse Ronan is delicious as the psychic companion. She is to save the movie. "Defying Acts of death" appears to be a hole. I am quite disappointed by it. |
| Tasteful direction seems to kill any chance to get an idea of what the characters in this Death Defying Acts film could have been very similar. It's like a museum piece created by a separate sense of suburban conservative who wants everything to be seen in the best light possible. Houdini was a tough former circus performer .. a guy who started in scummiest landfill and worked his way up .. Edinburgh and the music hall scene was absurd. I went to music rooms in Edinburgh in the 1950s, and you can smell the smell of beer and body, listen to the signal location with cat calls, insults, smart-aleck remarks .. not at this delicate presentation .. and is supposed to be much cruder 1920. daintiness This appears to extend to women artists, to be the best dressed, better fed young slappers in history .. and how Ms. Zeta Jones has become so boring? She used to be so full of enthusiasm and Sass. There is very little enthusiasm and Sass in this script or this movie. |
| When I saw the name of the Death Defying Acts Thriller ... I thought: "What the hell?" but anyway ... ... a friend of mine was so excited that I had to do. I started the DivX film Death Defying Acts and I liked the way the DivX film Death Defying Acts of the painted ... lighting ... very good ... Harry Houdini, but it is undoubtedly the man we see in the film. Here, it seems like an arrogant man who instantly falls in love with a girl. Besides, Zeta-Jones is a great time and again that kept me in the next DivX film Death Defying Acts ... I was very interested and I thought that she was also a great ... I recommend the DVD film Death Defying Acts ... is a brilliant ... one more to see if there's nothing better =) |
